Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS) is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes some of the region's finest health and human services agencies. CHS is comprised of five hospitals, three nursing homes, a regional home care and hospice network and a community based agency for persons with special needs. More than 13,500 staff and 2,700 medical professionals work within the CHS system.
Founded in 1997 to oversee the Diocese of Rockville Centre's healthcare organizations, CHS serves hundred of thousands of Long Islanders each year providing care that extends from the beginning of life to helping people live their final years in comfort, grace and dignity.
