Our six acute care hospitals provide advanced, patient-focused services to the people of the region. Two of the three Long Island hospitals with Magnet® designation—nursing’s highest honor—are CHS facilities, and three CHS hospitals have been ranked Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report (2013–2014). In 2012, two CHS hospitals were among just three in all of Nassau or Suffolk to be ranked Top Performers on Key Quality Measures™ by The Joint Commission.
