Alan B. Ettinger, MD, MBA, professor of clinical neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is a nationally known epilepsy specialist. His landmark research has advanced quality of life for individuals with epilepsy. He has authored six neurology textbooks and a patient advocacy guide. Dr. Ettinger has served on committees of the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society, National Epilepsy Foundation and the International League Against Epilepsy. He is also president of the Professional Advisory Board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island and is cited in Castle Connolly, Newsday and New York magazine's guide to the best doctors.
