Beacon Health Partners, a Westbury, New York, based independent physician network, and Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS), a Rockville Centre, New York, based health system, jointly announced that effective October 2014 CHS and St. John's Episcopal Hospital have acquired a 50 percent stake in Beacon.

In addition, CHS’s Our Lady of Consolation and St. Catherine of Siena nursing facilities were recognized as among the Best Nursing Homes in the nation.
