St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® , located in Nassau County, is New York State’s only specialty-designated cardiac center.  The Hospital performs more cardiac procedures than any other center in the Northeast, and it is one of the leading cardiac care programs in the nation.  A referral center serving Long Island and the surrounding areas, its mission encompasses the detection, treatment and prevention of heart disease.
