Pain Management: Patrick F. Annello, MD
Patrick F. Annello, MD, co-director of pain management at St. Francis Hospital and physician director of the hospital's Pain PI Committee, is an anesthesiologist with specialization in the treatment of chronic and acute pain. He is board certified by the ACGME in anesthesiology and pain management and performs a range of minimally invasive procedures to help alleviate pain. Dr. Annello also performs more aggressive procedures such as radiofrequency for back and neck pain, implantation of spinal cord stimulators and other spine procedures to try to avoid more invasive surgeries. He believes in a broad approach and is open to other techniques, including meditation, nutrition, acupuncture and chiropractic care.
