Catholic Health’s Physician Partners Ambulatory Care in Patchogue is now providing residents of South Central Suffolk County with increased access to quality health care.

The 4,000 square-foot medical facility at 55 Medford Road has 10 examination rooms and is currently staffed by a primary care physician and an orthopedist. A cardiologist, endocrinologist and pediatrician will be joining the practice for additional patient convenience.

“Catholic Health’s new Ambulatory Care practice gives area residents access to our unique delivery model, providing patients primary and specialty care all under one roof,” said Catholic Health Physician Partners Chief Medical Officer Avni Thakore, MD, FACC.

“Patchogue is the latest example of our continuing effort to connect with residents close to where they live,” said Catholic Health Physician Partners Chief Administrative Officer Sunny Chiu. “This location, as with our other Ambulatory Care centers, is one of many patient access points of Catholic Health’s larger health care network that includes some of Long Island’s most distinguished hospitals and long-term care facilities.”

The Patchogue facility follows the opening of Catholic Health’s Ambulatory Care in Lake Success in February 2021 and Ambulatory Care in West Babylon in 2020. There are plans to open two more Ambulatory Care locations in 2021.

The expansion of multidisciplinary practices further enhances Catholic Health’s ambulatory services available across Long Island. The St. Francis Ambulatory Center in East Hills specializes in procedures, including orthopedic surgery, which allows patients to return home the same day. Ambulatory Care in Commack offers a multitude of services including cardiology, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, primary care, rehabilitation, weight loss surgery and women’s health.
