Catholic Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital announced it is enhancing its maternity services with several new additions. The West Islip hospital is creating a new, 10-bed maternity unit on the fourth floor that will feature new rooms with private bathrooms and showers.
“At Good Samaritan Hospital we support expectant mothers and their family members through the entire pregnancy journey—from preparing for their baby’s arrival to postpartum support,” said John Vullo, DO, Good Samaritan Hospital Chairman of Obstetrics & Gynecology. “Our teams treat our patients like they’re family—with compassion and clinical excellence. Now we’ll have the facilities to match the outstanding care.”
Other new additions include a high-end menu, catering specifically to labor and delivery patients and their partners. This new, family-centered area is expected to open at the end of 2022.
