dina cicillini

Catholic Health named Dina Cicillini, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, CPHQ, Vice President of Performance Improvement at Good Samaritan University Hospital (West Islip, NY).

She will oversee all pertinent performance improvement (PI) programs of the 437-bed, not-for-profit hospital. This key leadership position is new to the organization and represents executive commitment to the continued improvement of performance metrics.

Good Samaritan is the flagship and tertiary care hub for Catholic Health in Suffolk County, providing premier services that include The Stroke & Brain Aneurysm Center of Long Island, a Verified Level 2 Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center, and the St. Francis Heart Center and Catholic Health Cancer Institute at Good Samaritan. The hospital recently broke ground on its upcoming Patient Care Pavilion, which will feature a new emergency department, replacement operating rooms and private patient rooms. 

Cicillini previously served as vice president of clinical operations for JCCA and director of quality management and patient safety at Northwell Health/Lenox Hill Hospital prior. Both are located in New York City.

Cicillini is an industry veteran whose experience has also encompassed positions at other facilities. She holds multiple certifications and professional affiliations, including Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Board Certified Nurse Executive, and recognitions from the American Nurse Association and the American Organization of Nurse Leaders. She is FEMA/National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) Trained. In addition, she received her master’s in business administration and health services management from Hofstra University and her bachelors of science in nursing from Molloy College.
 
She resides in Valley Stream with her husband and two children.
