New Board Certified Surgeon

St. Joseph Hospital and Mercy Medical Center welcome Dr. Mohammed N. Islam, board certified surgeon who has been practicing vascular, endovascular, venous, endovenous and general surgery for 25 years. He received his training under pioneers of cardiovascular surgery Drs. Michael Debakey and Edward Diethrich. Dr. Islam is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and certified member of the International Society of Endovascular Surgery. At Mercy, Dr. Islam is a panel provider for the Wound Care Center. Both hospitals are members of Catholic Health Services.
