The Geriatric Fx Program at Good Samaritan Hospital (West Islip, NY) is the only one in the region and has premier certification from the International Geriatric Fracture Society. The program provides fracture care for the geriatric population, 65 years of age and older, who are hospitalized after sustaining fractures after a fall from standing height (fragility fractures). The goal is to reduce severe, early complications and some of the long-term disabilities associated with fragility fractures.

Our pediatric orthopedists are experts in the pediatric musculoskeletal system and are trained to help prevent abnormal development in young patients who have sustained a fracture.
