St. Catherine of Siena Hospital's Emergency Department in Smithtown, NY, is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week to provide rapid care to Long Islanders with emergent medical issues. We treat a range of serious to critical injuries and conditions.

Our highly experienced and compassionate team includes board-certified emergency medicine physicians, registered nurses, radiologists and additional support staff who live in the community, know the community, and are dedicated to caring for their friends, neighbors and fellow community members.

Paramedic-level ambulance service is available for Catholic Health patients at home, care facilities or physician offices needing urgent access to a Catholic Health hospital emergency department.

American Medical Response's 24/7 Care in Motion Transfer Center is equipped with software to facilitate single-call communication with Catholic Health providers requesting medical transportation.
