Catholic Health Services Continues to Expand Ambulatory Services
To better serve the community, Catholic Health Services (CHS) recently opened its Integrated Care in West Babylon. Other similar Integrated Care facilities are planned for 2020.
Integrated Care at West Babylon includes two primary care physicians, a cardiologist and an endocrinologist along with physical and occupational therapists. The practice plans to add a third primary care physician, another endocrinologist, a breast surgeon, a dermatologist and a podiatrist.
“Integrated Care at West Babylon meets a range of patients’ health care needs, providing convenient access in one setting,” said Sunny Chiu, chief administrative officer, Medical Group, for Catholic Health Services. “This location represents the front lines of CHS’s larger network, which is designed to deliver high-quality health care at all points in our patients' lives, from physician offices to diagnostic testing centers to some of Long Island’s most distinguished hospitals and nursing homes.”
The opening of Integrated Care at West Babylon is part of CHS’s expanding ambulatory platform that includes the St. Catherine and St. Charles Center for Health and Wellness in Commack and the St. Francis Ambulatory Center in East Hills. Ambulatory surgery centers offer services such as gastrointestinal, orthopedics, spine, pain management, ear nose and throat, ophthalmology and podiatry.
