Diane Burshtein Named Director of Patient Experience for Two CHS Hospitals
CHS has named Diane Burshtein director of patient experience at St. Charles Hospital and St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center.
The Plainview resident will collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive quality and service excellence in further enhancing the patient experience at both hospitals.
“Collaborating with both hospitals to enhance the patient experience will accomplish our system goal of high reliability,” Burshtein said. “It will capture our purpose as health care providers to offer the best patient experience to every patient, every time.”
CHS’s commitment to providing patients the highest level of care led to the creation of the patient experience position to further enhance patient satisfaction at hospitals across the system. This past year, Medina Kurtovic was named director of patient experience for Mercy Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Anthony Anitra was named director of patient experience for Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. They join Karen Allen who has served as director of patient experience for St. Francis Hospital since 2017.
“Having leadership in the area of patient experience at each of our six CHS hospitals allows us to provide our patients the exemplary level of care they deserve,” said Jason M. Golbin, DO, MBA, MS, senior vice president/chief quality officer for Catholic Health Services. “Each patient experience director works with front-line staff to ensure that we are providing this high level of service.”
